Shri Ramdeobaba Kamla Nehru Engineering College was founded back in the year 1984 by the visionary idea of the Shri Ramdeobaba Sarvajanik Samiti. It is affiliated to the RTM, Nagpur university and approved by AICTE New Delhi and the government of Maharashtra. Certified as an ISO 9001: 2000 organisation, it currently holds the fourth position among the premier 50 colleges in the state of Maharashtra. Dr. V.S. Deshpande is the principal of the college who is assisted in his venture by the executive committee and the academic council.

FACTS
The college has an enormous campus, which is well located and situated in proximity to the railway station and the airport. There are well-equipped residential facilities for the students with a range of up to date infrastructure. The institute operates an active placement cell and there is a campus recruitment drive every year. Some of the top companies from India and abroad visit the campus for procurement of employees.
